Why La Raza Unida Party?
La Raza Unida is a Chicano-Raza response to our people having no political power. La Raza Unida spread like wildfire in 1970 as chapters sprung up all over Aztlan. La Raza built a powerful organization that eventually had to come to terms with what path to take.

El Movimiento
La Raza Unida advanced to a Raza Revolutionary Party guided by Chicano Revolutionary Nationalism. We came to understand that we could only solve the issues affecting our people if we had complete power over our lives as a people/nation (Self Determination)

The only way we could get to that point is by having a Political Party who’s purpose is to fight for the interests of the mass of La Raza whom are workers. 50 years later El Partido Nacional de La Raza Unida (PNLRU) continues organizing and building for the liberation of our people and land!
